These are five key topics of the conference (click here for the presentation of the five topics):

TOPIC 4 – Education, advisory services and the wider AKIS’s contribution to social inclusion and the health and wellbeing of farmers and communities

TOPIC 5 – How education and advice drive agrifood systems transformations

Abstracts must not exceed 400 words

Abstract submissions must be made by  March 10, 2025

Authors should submit abstracts in English language through the online system.

  • If you have not submitted through this system in the past, you will need to create a user account by clicking the “Registration” tab in the online system. 
  • After you log in to the system, click “+ Create new submission” in the Author Console. 
  • Enter the title, the abstract text (template). 
  • The section “AUTHORS” should list your e-mail address, Name, Organization, and Country. 
  • To add more authors, please enter the e-mail address of your co-author and click “+ Add.” Fill in the fields to provide the name, organization, and country of your co-author and click “+ Add.” Repeat this process to add more co-authors. 
  • Select the Conference Topic. 
  • Click “Submit.” 

Submission for online presentation (oral presentation)
Online Presentation is limited to online parallel sessions (one parallel session per topic) and plenary sessions. Due to limited seating, preference will be given to participants residing in non-OECD countries.

Submission Decisions 

​The scientific committee will notify all submitting authors of their decision until March 31, 2025.  

Submission of extended abstracts, pre-registration  

By May 24, 2025 – Submission of extended abstract (template) is due for abstracts submitted for oral presentations 

By May 31, 2025 – Registration Due and Presenters must register to be included on the program.  

Abstracts must be submitted via author feedback console as shown bellow:

The extended abstracts presented at the 27th ESEE conference will be published in the Conference Book of Proceedings online (PDF) with ISBN.
