The project seeks to boost extensive grazing as a landscape management mechanism, from fire risk management to soil carbon sequestration.
To this end, it works on three main pillars: improving the productivity of farms; improving the governance of local communities in the management of their mountains; and communicating with society, particularly in terms of valorising the products resulting from economic activities in the mountains.
