The University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD) is a higher education institution located in Vila Real, Portugal. ​Travelling from the city of Porto:
​If you’re travelling by plane, the closer airport is Porto International Airport.The city of Vila Real is about 100 km from Porto.

  – You can travel directly from Porto International Airport to Vila Real via Flix Bus (buy tickets in advance)
  
  – You can travel directly from Porto International Airport to Vila Real via Rede Expressos (buy tickets in advance)
  
  – Once you arrive at the airport, take the subway to Estádio do Dragão Station: take E Purple Line towards Estádio do Dragão Station and get off at Campanhã (19 stops). The journey takes approximately 40 minutes.
